Do people need to listen to the same kind of music as you if they want to be your friend?
I have lots of friends but only 1-2 actually listen to the same stuff as me.

yeh it's hard finding other people that enjoy midget pr0n
seriously though, try joining a social club for what you're interested in in your local area. get out there and meet people and open yourself up to the idea that people are different.
as for the music, go to clubs/parties that play your music (assuming you're referring to EDM) and make some friends.

Most of my friends right now ( where I have lived for the last year and a half ) I consider them acquaintances .... sure I have know 2 or 3 of them since I was a baby but I feel little to no connection to any of them.
I realize we can't all have similar interests but all they do is mock me and my tastes in:
books
movies
hobby
music ( and not just electronic .... I listen to anything under the sun and I guess that's too much for them to handle )
art etc
I have a very open mind about things and some people just don't understand that.
Most of them are annoying f*cks who are married now and are totally unavailable anyhow as friends. It really pisses me off. I miss my friends from where I lived before

+1
I tend to come and go when making friends. Most of the people I know are now just aquaintances, we've moved on and I'll be glad to make some new mates when I start university this year. I miss my school days but it's nice to be in the adult world too.

i dont really have a problem making friends...it's keeping them that's hard.
i'm very moody and i get turned off easily and it's just hard to maintain a friendship with someone who already has friends and whatnot.
i guess it's just too much work. i hate the beginning phase of a friendship when you're both still kinda phony and feeling each other out n stuff. it's like dating. bleh...
