International Affairs VS intergalactic affairs
I heard some news about a week back that some agency picked up a signal from outer space that definently wasnt anything local. Supposedly, every "suspicious" signal has to pass through somewhere arond 130 tests before it deserves any special attention. And no signal has passed that test until now.
I just got done watching Contact with Jodie Foster (amazing movie) and just wondering what your opinion on why this space news isnt all over CNN. I know that our world is important with Isreal and all, but I mean, i watch a ton of news and haven't heard anything about the signal. Shit, i've seen that Gnarles Barkley video on MSNBC, but nothing on this.
Is it that the media isn't interested or that the media thinks the people wouldn't be interested?
