I was just searching for novation on ebay and noticed that the hardware versions of this seem to go for about £50 which isn't exacly breaking the bank.

So what is really want to know does anyone have any expirence with it and how it sounds compared to the software version.

The reason I ask is because I was always under the impresson that the novation V station and hardware K station sound exacly same.

However after recently getting the KS rack I can tell you there a diffrence from the v station. It's quite hard to put into words but It just sounds sharper and a bit more full on if you know what I mean which may not sound that much but it makes a big diffence to me.

So opions on the hardware bass station and if sounds just as fat / less than / or about the same as the software.

physical bassstation = real analog ynth, none of that low fat va stuff herer.

If you can find one go for the superbasstation..

in this price range a i would go for a waldorf pulse which is analog too but in my opinion has a much better lowend.

I really liked the bass station, got some great sounds out of it.

Pules is a different beast to the bassation family, much more expensive too. Do love both, they have very complementary sounds
