DJ Relik, Groove Eric and Thomas Datt @ BLUE 7/7/06 Review + pics
First let me start off this review by saying my brain is clam chowder. And I don't even LIKE seafood.
For this month's installment of THE FIX, we had 2 of our very best FLTA DJs, Groove Eric and Relik on the bill, accompanied by New York producer/DJ Thomas Datt.
Relik started his opening set with some house, which slowly lead into some good prog then bang out trance. All well done as always, a great yet somewhat kinda short opening set. Tracks included:
Karen Overton - Your Loving Arms (Markus Schulz & Elevation mix)
Ferry Corsten - Watch Out

Giuseppe Ottaviani & Marc van Linden - Until Monday (John Askew remix)
^^First time I EVER heard this remix. Very impressive!
Ronald van Gelderen - This Way (Original mix)

Above & Beyond - Can't Sleep (Signum remix)
After Relik came our guest DJ. Thomas Datt banged out nothing good tunes with flawless mixing, on point, every time. I'd never heard any of his sets before but this first time was an excellent first impression. Tracks included:

Above & Beyond - Tri State
Avalon - Circa <- Lis lost it again when this came on.
Marco V - I Feel You (Thomas Datt remix) <- My request. Thx for playing this, man!
Luminary - Wasting (Ronski Speed remix) <- Thanks to Mel on the ID on this one.
E-Craig - First Time (212 remix) <- or something. Mel ID'd this as well.
And finally Groove Eric. FLTA's best came on and once again landed a non-stop onslaught of tracks that had the place going insane. SOme of which included
U2 - Vertigo (Marcel Woods bootleg mix) <- Mel started screaming and Datt was like 
Sweet Dreams
Sander van Doorn - Punked (Sean Tyas remix) <- I LOVE this track.
After Eric's full set, he and Relik did a tag team session to close out the night. Woulda stayed longer but my ears and head took a lot of punishment. As for pics, I'm too fucked up to post them.
That's a better excuse than tranzcowboy's wannabe review thread. 
Keep the good shit coming Eric and Relik. Thomas, congrats on a set well done!
And NO I'm NOT touching your balls.
And one more thing. WHO THE FUCK was that dude with the blonde hair in the blue t-shirt?? Annoying as fuck!! He came up to me and said "God Bless You."

And he kept shaking hands with everyone (including myself) for no reason....if he was a TA, I sure as hell didn't know so my apologies....if not, FUCK OFF!
