Hello! [TRANCE ][SAMPLE][160kbps][144bpm][4:20] Ancient Souls - Razgah

Hello there!

I wonder if you could take a look on this sample of my newest track and give me some feedback so I can improve.

If anybody shows interest I can post the full 320kbps version latter.
Also, I'm not sure if I made a good job on Mastering so i could accept any tips.

I thank you in advance for any feedback.

mmk opening..

wow interesting detune opening sound.. did you detune off unison or something.. anyway very interesting - kinda freaky but its cool. the vocals are very unique... can either break or make the track not sure yet... try compressing them a little more to blend them into the mix better?

hint - kick should be balanced to bass so i would bring it up a few clicks and bring bass down a few to balance it..

ahh i loved the you cant take part vocal then the crash chorus! that was unexpected. bassline is unique hard to follow though. i feel like you have some great sounds here, but the sequencing is a little hard to follow.. i dunno possibly a rework would come out much crisper. the distorted guitar is cool but unbalanced in the mix. ive always found the lower you mix overall, the easier ultimately the final mastering is. the cut up guitar was cool, but then it just disappeared... i dunno what happened to it and then was no hint that it would.. then the final bassline was fine but theres nothin really else going on - maybe incorporate some fx to round out the mix?

anyways cool track - very unique. keep working with it, you could have something cool there.

aight peace bro

p.s. if you could check out my mix of my new track and let me know what you think - energetic trancer with driving bass new track

Thank you so much for your feedback.
I will follow your tips and remake the track.
About the bassline, i personay like it very much but as you said it's hard to follow... do think I should change it?

About your mix, I would love to check it but i can't access www.yousentit.com, if you could upload it to www.filegone.com I will check it for sure and give you the feedback.

Thank you again for your coments!

Peace

Be Cool!

its all good man - yeah maybe tomm i will get to that www.filegone.com biz

about the bassline - mean obviously this is Your track and you should do what make you feel right - i think theres probably a medium between the overly-funked out bass and a 1-2 note pattern bass you know what im sayin? take a break from this track - make some patches or soemthing. then a few days later sit down and focus only on the bassline - try to make a fun, driving, energetic bassline without playing the octave like you almost did and maybe sidechain it? i love sc - also, i tend to stick with 8th notes or larger in my basses to keep from being too intensive and taking away from the rest of the track. a great ex. of the opposite of that would be gabriel and dresden - tracking treasure down (i.e. towards the end when the bassline goes nuts. personally, i think thats the worst part of that song and i LOVE that song. that bassline WORKS.. but it is hard to follow.. clubwise the note progression does blend to sound like an intense heart beat - at least thats what i felt when i heard it live)

ultimately do what you think sounds right but if you work out some sample basslines you can let me know and ill give em a listen n give you any feedback on what i like, etc.

goodluck chief!

spence
