going to be a great season i think, channel 10 aired qualifying last night which was great and the race tonight is LIVE for once.

its very interesting this year with the v8's, 200bhp reduction but still they manage to be on last years times or there abouts.

tyre changes are back for the weekends, which is excellent, 7 sets per car per weekend.

Although i hate to say it Ferarri looks very strong this year, Massa is showing some realy talent, but liek you said BAR are also one to watch, Jenson was on a few flyers last night and is a real podium chance.

im damn excited! BRING IT!

BAR have become Honda racing (and my god all those team renames are confusing O_O), but seems like they're still doing alright or better (bar weren't a top team, but I guess they were just outside the top... maybe can go 1 better now and button has really proved himself as a good driver, especially the last 2-3 seasons)

and :O at 10 showing the qualifying, hopefully they do that all season! .. and going by last year, dunno if tonight's will be live, normally those v8supercar bogan commentators talk shit for a while and show various highlights and talk more shit, then finally they show the race, deeeelayed :/

yeah agree with you there, the race is scheduled to start at 10:30 AEST which is when the 10 broadcast starts.. so either they will talk quickly or talk shit and it will be delayed a stupid 15 or 20min.

The qualifying was a one off i think, ten said due to many changes this season they aired it so people would be up to speed. also on the telecast, Bill Woods is no longer hosting the race's with Neil due to other commitments, he will still host RPM but now Leigh Diffy will host it with Neil, its all bullshit, when will they give us ITV coverage!! i want the grid walk damnit! and i prefer someone who is at the track and can give a better description of things rather than some v8 supercar goons looking at a folder with 'stats' and sector times and info i can get off the F1 website.

exactly what i wanna see! and ch9 done a MUCH better job on presenting back in the day, but their delays and shit and became insane (ie towards the end got as bad as like 9am'ish morning the next day O_o), and the rest of it all fell apart too

well, we're getting it at 10.40, which im pretty happy about coz thats a whole lot better than 2am or something

havent followed much F1 in the last few years, got pretty boring to watch imo. still, might tune in for this. would like to see montoya put in a strong performance

Rosberg is a standout, 20 years old, un-fucken-real! he is one to watch this season and in the years to come.

Great fight for the lead from Alonso and Michael, especially with Alonso's final pit, and scrapping with michael on the outlap, great racing.

Overall great start to the season, bring on Malaysia next weekend.
