Needles.

So, I was doing heroin the other day..

Actually, I need to get some new carts for my Techs. What's everyone reccomend, that aren't too terrible expensive, as I'm on a college budget. It's not for scratching, just mixing.

The carts I have right now suck ass, so I replacing the entire things. If it means anything, I like the look and feel of the all-in-ones, but either one is fine.

what do you mean all it one kind? the concorde-style? anyways some cheap and pretty decent needles are 505sk from stanton... they aren't the highest of quality but for the price of 30 bucks they are hard to beat. you can also get a set of two 505sk cartridges premounted on a headshell for about 75 dollars..

concorde style cartridges are really pricey...the cheapest ones, to my knowledge, are the Numark CC-1, going on sale at music123.com for about 59.95 usd, the Numark CS1 Carl Cox Signature Cartridge, which retails at 68.36 on the same website, and the discmaster from stanton is about 70 dollars too.

If you aren't scratching get the m44-7gs. SLightly more balance sound and slightly less record wear. The m44-7s are a bit too bright I find for dance records, but are perfect for the slower hip hop beats.
