soundclick doesnt work with me for some bizzare reason
I'm really digging the beginning right now. Nice percussions
Bassline sounds a little muddy.
Those high cymbals are REALLY starting to drown out the mix at 1:15.
The track sounds really off right now because those highs are starting to hurt my ears. I don't know if you high shelf eq all your cymbals, but there is no need to because it's really making the mix sound off.
I think the bassline should have 8 bars instead of just 4. The melody I feel could use some more variation to it. 4 bars isn't enough to really keep it going for the length it goes. The overall arrangement is okay. I think it could use some more variety. The production itself isn't that great. This is mainly due to the poor mixdown and mastering used. Work on your mixdown a lot because those highs are really overdriving your mix, when they should just be there to give most instruments some clarity. Also if you're eqing, use small boosts like 2-3dB increments or cut certain frequencies instead of boosting the other ones.

hi lindo and KilldaDJ. thanks for the feedback.
um yeah lindo, i always seem to have issues with the eq part. I'll try out reducing the newly added master eq as thats doing the hifreq bit. about the bassline clarity, did you find the last track nxeo the systemf exhale one much better than this track. anyway both track could use an update as theyre both hifreq.

let me listen to the other track nxeo to see if it's about the same because if i remember correctly...most of your tracks sound like this. Leave me a message on msn or something sometime and maybe I can help you get a cleaner production.
