warrior voodoo (O.L. remix) and lost vagueness (OL remix)

warrior - voodoo (oliver lieb remix) and utah saints - lost vagueness (o.l. remix)
what about these 2 trackS? i just heard the voodoo remix and i thought: it's exactly the same as lost vagueness (oliver lieb remix) except for the vocals...!
are these mixes just made by a simple concept and didnt oliver want to spent too much time to produce a unique remix?????

yea they use the same drums and hi hat, and also use identical synth riffs but just different notes. Very similar but thats just olivers latest style. I love both.

its not that i dont like them, i like both yes, but i think its just not right to use a standard concept for a remix, it gives me the feeling that he just wasnt interested in the tracks to make a remix, but wanted to make a remix and then go on with the things he does like....

Hmmm. I never noticed, but now that you've brought it up.. they do sound similiar in a lot of ways; same bassline and high hats.
But having said that, I really do like both remixes alot, so who cares!

I love both of the tunes, but the vocals in Lost Vagueness do it for me, in 1999 we all know ATB used like 1 type of sound for lots of tunes, maybe this is just cos Oliver remixed both tunes @ about the same time, I'm not complaining tho cos they both sound mint
