[Review] Serge & Waxman

OK so I'm a total trance whore. But I've got a thing for waxman. The crowd was completely uninteresting. Total suburbia and meathead city. Fake tans, fake boobs, gotti haircuts everywhere. Most of them I'm quite sure were only there to secure some punani. However.... There was some deep dark dirty house playing, and again I must say I'm a sucka for it. I enjoyed myself. And I think Serge came on after Waxman (I left at about 3:30), and he (or whoever it was) played some yummy stuff too. I do love me some Crobar, and it makes me so sad that it becomes such a sea of a-holes. I love the large venue, but I long for the Arc type crowd that just goes to dance. Nostalgia, I know. Let it go girl.

That's all I got to say.

Did anyone else go? I'm guessing no.

I went to see Waxman once and I thought he was one of the worst DJs, musically not technically, that I've ever heard out. I guess he played better music?

If you could handle Sasha and Satoshi then you would have been okay with last nights set.

So I'm guessing he didn't play a hard tribal loop for 10 minutes with the My Humps acapella over it?

^^ No. Not at all.

By the way, based on Serge's productions and live opening and closing sets that I've heard, I completely didn't expect any of the types of tracks he threw down. Confused? Yes. Disappointed? I guess not

I almost always have room to move around there on a Friday. Especially when its not 18+.

Nah. I went for Hernan on an 18+ night two weeks ago and I had room. And any DJ on a 21+ will give you room, save Tiesto. I've really never had a problem except on 18+ nights.
