haha nothing wrong with Vengence! And we kept the breakdown the way it was because of what you said: to avoid cliche-ness. The "funk" synth was the only resemblence our remix had to the original and the whole track was based offa that synth melody rather than the original's main melody, so we left that bit alone. It's definately progressive, I wouldn't call it funky either, but it's not our choice on the title
