REVIEW: Faarsheed @ Tentation
well i am at work hungover from last night and here goes the review.
so i get there at 930 thinking they would be letting people in right about then. nope i was wrong. had to wait 30 mins so i call a friend and talk for a few. so just waiting and i meet these 3 brazilians-cesar, eduardo and carol. really cool people. so while were waiting we all decide to go into the restaurant and get a drink. i get a shot of effen and cesar gets a mixed drink.
so then i go outside to check if they are letting people in still arent. so we go outside and cesar, carol and eduardo smoke and we talk to pass the time. so as we are exiting the retaurant i see boris and start talking with him. he very curteous to me and even let me know that the new sound system is going to be in in 2 weeks. its by turbo sound still but i guess turbo sound is owned by the same people who own funktion 1. and he gave me some other djs that are coming to tentation. so finally at 10pm they start letting people in.
so we get in and its empty. i get a drink and then proceed to the patio. we hang out at the patio but then it got really crowded so i went inside. i got another shot (this is my 3rd in like 30mins) and proceed to find my way to the front waiting for faarsheed to come on.
the opener was playing some house which i was enjoying even though im not a house person normally. then faarsheed gets on and starts looping the last track the opener had on and mixing in his first track. the first track had a really nice bassline. i then proceed to get another shot and then like 15mins later another. so i had 5 shots in the span of like 1.5hrs which isnt a lot but i havent drank shots for a while. i was really liking faarsheeds set and didnt want it to end but of course i had to get to work in the morning so it was a good thing. so then at like 145ish this rapper gets on and i jetted. i am not into that shit. i was like wtf is this.
so all in all i had a great night but i am hungover. i am on my 2nd gatorade in like 10mins. i feel so shitty. well i didnt manage to meet any new tas even though i tried to find randys and optionvdo.
the sound system was A LOT better than at armin. because i said i HATED the sound at armin boris actually made it a point to ask me how the sound was while i was dancing which was pretty cool. i told him all in all it was great but the highs are still just a tad too high. they werent hurting really at all except at parts but that was only cause he was working it so cant take that into account.
i will have to say that compared to overall organization and everything it was much much better than when armin was there. not too packed, enough bar tenders, easy to get to bar, not as many stuck up people, and a lot of eye candy  .
