Hi, can anyone tell me about the vocal effect in justin timberlakes new song? has that been done with a compressor? i woudl liek to recreate it any help apreciated...

also im interested in any other vocal effects and how they are produced.

I'm guessing it may be a lo-fi effect, or a vocorder.
More than likely lofi and possible some EQ tricks.
but like I said, just a guess

sounds like a very warm distortion to me.
and of course shitloads of compression, if you listen closly to it you can hear that his voice has lost almost everything that oculd be identified as dynamics
