My windows messed up the other day (nothin new, haha) So basically i have to reinstall it and i just had a question about vst's. I've always installed them to the exact same directories as they were prior to the reinstall. But i was wondering if it matters to the host (ableton in my case) where they're intalled to?? Pertaining to loading up tracks im currently working on. Im pretty sure as long as Ableton has the vst's recognized, no matter where they reside now, they will load properly with all patch information in tact. Any clarification on that? thanks..
