Unless you mean recording yourself tweaking knobs with the mouse. In FL Studio it's easier than pie. I don't know about other sequencers, though.

usually its done with a midi contoller well i did it like this but ive sold it so i was wondering if it is possible to use the mouse instead. ive tried using it but it doesnt record the automation. i can draw automation in with the mouse although im looking to autoamte filters, cutoff etc.
