spammers - don't activate obvious ones ?

eg. http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...fo&userid=66559

I've seen plenty like this, who blatantly aren't here for the music, so why even activate their accounts ?

there's been an abundance of ones like that lately, many choosing the afghan flag but linking to .com or .ru websites. I think when it's obvious they're just spammers, there's no point giving them the chance to do it.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the process is automated. I doubt Swamper keeps track of 65,000+ users.

Woah, in that case I've been taking the Swampman for granted.

tis a puzzling one isn't it. Just means they cause havoc until a mod gets called in.

I'm sure he doesn't activate dumb account names manually..

I heard Swamper likes the COR funneh so accounts like those will get validated just for fun.

Give the man a break, he probabaly gets a lot of new members a day, one slip here and there may happen. The threads usually get locked, deleted or raped by the TA mass anyways so no harm done.

Just because they're 'registered' doesn't mean they have posting privs... every single signup is screened before they can post.

The odd one gets through - and - some are allowed in even if it may look like they're coming here to spam, since, I'm not always right about that - but if they do spam - they're not here very long anyways.
