DJM-400 - Headphone Connection

so I just got my DJM-400 last week and already ive noticed that where you plug in your headphone jack its become lose and my left earcup has no sound when I plug it in.

has this ever happened to anyone else? and can I fix it myself or do I need to bring it somewhere to get it fixed..

sigh I was expecting better from pioneer.

did you buy it new? if that's the case then i'm sure pioneer should cover that for you since that is definitely a mistake on their part.

and if you bought it used... now you know why the seller was trying to get rid of it

Try a different set of headphones to elimate that as a potential fault. If you get the fault with different headphones then you know it's not the mixer.

And try turning your headphones round - if the problem still occurs in the same ear (i.e. your left or right), get it looked at.

I tried a different pair and they worked fine.

I hooked my MDR-700s up to my computer and tested them and the left and right ear worked.. except only the right works when its plugged into the mixer.

When I plug my HD580s into my mixer both the left and right ear work..

I am going to be taking the mixer in this weekend to get repaired as I am pretty sure its a connection issue since when I would be mixing and whenever i would move around I would notice in my headphones that it would cut out temporarily.
