Mixing Online
Hey, I didn't know where to put this but I have a question about mixing online.
Is there a site where... say, you could mix like into your mic input on the back of your comp and have a few friends listen in? Like a chat website kinda...
I've always wanted to do this for my friends, now that we are off at college it seems like a fun "get-together" idea...
any sites? Or is it just better to upload it somewhere...
Hey thanks woody, but me being a cheap-skate, thats not free is it?

You can try it out for Free. It used to be Free a few years back, then they made it into a paid site.

It won't work... like it says I'm sending a singal but... I don't show up on the shoutcast website... hmm...
any other sites or any easier way?
you will have to configure some ports on your router (if you are using one). then just give your IP address to the friends that you want tuned in and they should be able to stream live off your connection.

i'm not sure about this, but back in the day i used to run a shoutcast server off my ip with stuff i downloaded from their website and people could tune into it by loading up my ip or dns in their 'open location' of winamp.
hope that helped
