Awsome, We accept n00bs as well!
Do both of you have X-fire and Teamspeak?
We use X-fire to know when each other is playing and communicate just for BF2 Stuff. Also, We run a TS server from one of our computers depending on who is on-line (with the 8 M/Sec Connection) so X-fire lets everyone know what the TS IP is since it changes daily. Teamspeak, if you don't already have it, would be a good idea to get. We try not to use the in-game VOIP since it is hit or miss and only works in a round.
This weekend is not going to be a huge playing one since most of us are going to Flordia but we play atleast a few times a week for about 3 hours a night. (Minus me because I have a real job and can only play on the weekends in most cases! I got to get my priorties straight, Games then work is how it should be ! )

due to context clues id gues x-fire is a program that acts like an ingame "buddy list" and that teamspeak is a program that lets you us mics to talk to each other without having to go through BF2's faulty voip servers (voice over internet)
DA, Ya we know you are a n00b at most things in life!
Wizniz, You got it... X-fire is an ingame buddy list. It tells you what servers friends are playing on for a wide range of games. You can chat with them in thier game from your x-fire IM program. It also has a wide range of other features such as automatic patch downloads and screen shots. X-fire site here
Teamspeak is a voip system that is FAR better then the one in BF2 because it runs as a stand alone of the game. Team speak download site
