Hello! [Uplifting Trance]Envio - Time To Say Goodbye (Bryant P's Fallen Remix)

Hi everyone! i've been through a rough few weeks of my life..considering that my g/f broke up with me. So i figured i guess its time to move on by putting the rest of my emotions into this remix. Title fits well though x]. Please check it out and tell me what you think!

Needs some work.

But its sounding very nice mate,

Love the way it bursts back into action.

All your melodies are nice, but productionwise there are a few little issues. But I'm sure with more time etc and practice you'll iron out these little problems.

Your structure and song writing is flawless really. I enjoyed it.

Keep it up.

Sorry to hear about the broke up, itīs always though even if it is the best. Good thing you have the music.

I really like this remix, driving and with a nice atmosphere. Well done!

Love the original, so I'll look into this.

The guitar-loop takes up to much space, and has too long of a tail. Cut some reverb, and EQ it a bit. All I can say right now, but other than that, great work.

Envio is the reason I produce, but anyways let's see if you do the original some justice.

Nice little intro there, kick is good, seems like those pads might need a bit more depth perhaps make them oscillate to give them character? Make them feel moving.
Once the little weird plucks come in it feels a bit too dry, you might need more sounds to creater an atmosphere. At 1:25 a nice set of PVD like plucks come in, good reeverbation and delay. Very good guitar synth, but there is bit too much of a tail on the notes. I do like the pads. It's a good remix it just needs to be layered alot more proficiently so that it creates a more magical atmosphere. Good job.

Thanks! yeah i think i should've cutted a bit off of the guitar leads. I didn't want to try to add too much sounds because i was worried things would get muddy. CPU was going insane as well lol.

Thought I'd have a listen...

Your production's pretty good. The percussion's nice and clean but still detailed enough to be interesting, synths sound good, everything seems to be pretty well levelled and eq'd, although one of the hats is slightly too loud imo which ends up dominating the perc more than it should... resulting in the perc sounding a bit too simple. The whole thing's lacking a decent amount of bottom end but that's just a mastering thing - pumping everything below about 500Hz in your final mixdown up by a few dB will sort that out.

The pad you've used in the breakdown works quite well (which is usually something that people get wrong and it ruins a track) - possibly could do with some slight filter variation or something to stop it from just sounding like a preset you've whacked on and held a few notes.

I like what you've done musically with the remix too, the lines you've added work. Not quite my style of trance overall (the kinda sunset trance feel), but a good effort all the same.

5/10 - only a couple of things to tidy up to get it up to standard, you could quite easily get this to a 6 or 7 on the scale I think.

(Scale: 0 give up, 1-3 fair way to go yet, 4-5 nearly there, 6-8 releasable, 9-10 something special)
