Because Trance is like Classic Music, requires concentration: It leads us to hypnotic states, listening to a song and filtering all the tiny diverse sounds that compose it. It's not music to think while listening to, but to focus on it, get in another state, a state that can make you cry, or can make you jump for hours.
Just my view.... ok, most of today's sounds don't include the 'another state' part.... but still many of them do...
P.S.: and all this philosophical bullshit came out while listening to Selu Vibra - Divina :P
