Buying that rite pair of shoes.

i know most of u burn alot of rubber when ya do that crazy thing that people call "dancing"

i;m looking 2 buy a pair which i hope would last me for a while but dun know which ones to buy. i dun want to buy something just for street credibility, but actually be comfortable and be worth the actual price.

i was thinking about buying a pair of diesels (150-180 $AUD) coz they look good as well as having good craftsmanship,IMO and therefore worth the price tag.
does anyone know if DIESEL make legit shoes? (as in no sweatshop labour involoved)
and i dun buy adiddas and nikes and the likes coz of their use of sweatshops, even though they look good.

can anyone suggest anything else that is good looking and good quality as well?

i;m asking alot, but i like to spend my $$ wisely, since i sorta unemployed :P

i find that when i used my ol skateboarding shoes, they tended to show less wear from dancing...
go to any local skateboard shop and check out a pair

THE ultimate dance shoe:

Adidas nu-skool Superstars (NOT the flat ones, the curved ones). Absolutely amazing traction, sticks to the floor but also lets you glide when necessary. Comfortable. Customizable (phat laces are a MUST). Durable. The ones I have right now have been going strong for over a year - most shoes don't last me that long ... my dancing style tends to tear them apart REAL fast.

I have two pairs of shoes that I alternate between. First is a pair of Vans ("skater" shoes) and the other is a pair of Lugz boots. The boots aren't quite as comfortable, but they have better ankle support, so I don't roll my ankle when I step on an empty water (or beer) bottle.

hehe, LUGZ? man, u must have really strong legs or sumthing 2 dance in those heavy mutha******s :P

accupunctures i dun really like coz all the ones that i've seen have pretty thick soles and i dun really like the look of that.

i know, i'm a bit fussy about this, but just want the perfect pair of shoes that will last me for some time and can wear everywhere
