Techno/Industrial/Dance style. try out "Expert Philosophy" or "Epiphenomenon" to start out! Would love to hear your comments.

I listened to Epiphenomenon...

The odd meter is 5/4. The intro was the best bit - the rest of it doesn't work. I think there's too much stuff in there for one track and it has no cohesion or proper structure.

It's over compressed as well - about half way you can hear the melodic parts are modulating the drums, which is never a good thing. I don't know if this is you or the mp3 encoding.

The sounds are OK and it's not bad but you need to sort out structure and orchestration instead of just piling everything into a wall of sound. At the moment it just doesn't gel.

Presumably, since you asked for a listen to this track, it's typical of your other stuff - go for quality rather than quantity.

ack.. ummm... i was trying to keep an 'open' view about music when i listened to it.. but sorrie dude, its all clumpy.. and not "crisp" enuf?? hmmm am i explainin it right? and its the sorta track which someone would go.. "ohh.. is that a song? or just random music"..
sorry i'm being a bit negative here.. but yea..
a song doesn't require a billion parts to sound good.. =p

Since comments were so negative, I decided to check it out myself... Epiphenomenon was the one I downloaded. Weird track... To me it sounded like a bunch of random sounds; something you can do with a simple tracker in a couple of hours. The lack of any kind of melody and the fact that some instruments were way too loud compared to other elements was enough to ruin it. Not my style.
