You are cordially invited to Mownster Stoumph, the first in a series of explosive dance parties. I’ve just moved into my new apartment in the heart of Chinatown, and the rooftop dance floor is prepped and ready. I’ll be spinning only the best and latest releases (trance/techno/electronica/house). The rooftop dance floor overlooks the street beside the Chinatown gate and has two and a half tall brick walls on one side between which I shall create a pillar of sound towering into the sky.
When: Saturday, August 12 (from 5pm until ???)
Where: 18 Hudson St, Apartment 2 (2nd floor)
Boston, MA 02111
Why: because dancing is good for you
I live in brookline, and go to Northeastern, maybe I'll drop by.

i went to a an awesome rooftop party in the south end in july. there's nothing better than spinning beats with beautiful views of the city
Yah, the party was a blast. We had a huge turnout. I'll have to try to drink a little less next time though :-) I think the beats suffered a little.
Blank and Jones are playing Avalon tonight, so I'll probably be spinning at my apartment before that starts up. TranceAddicts are always welcome. It's just a short T-ride or a 15 minute walk to Avalon from my place.

not really interested in MS music...
I'll be at Ali from Deep Dish Sept 15th and Carl Cox
Blank and Jones were pretty sick. They played that one song that makes me dance like I'm on fire. I think it was Philtre (The Green Martian Remix).
phabbs:
I'll definitely hit up Markus Shultz. I saw him at Spirit in December, and it was bitchin. Gabriel and Dresden opened for him. Great show altogether.
GUBostonDubs:
I've got a numark pro tt-2 table, an american dj proscratch-1 cd turntable, and a desktop computer with virtual dj and tractor. I use the computer more than anything else. My skills are a little rusty when it comes to actual vinyl That equipment runs through an old gemini bpm-1000 mixer into an even older mitsubishi amp (with matching speakers from the 70s). I added an extra subwoofer to beef up the low range, and it all sounds great, especially outside on the rooftop dancefloor The dancefloor's pretty large with a huge wall on one side and a gorgeous view of the financial district on the other. I live right near the huge ornamental gate in Chinatown, and my entire street is restaurants (except for my building) so I can party pretty loud back there. It's a blast.

Hell yah, I'll definitely let you know. I'd love to hear some bombass, stomping house music blaring from my rooftop.
