maybe with the whole ableton etc setup he uses limits the amount of new material he can use in his sets but there seems to be a low turnover in new material in his sets.
ive been a fan of pvd for 7 years and last year i thought he had a great year but this year i think hasnt been as great as he has. maybe its transition to a new style he is moving towards? but there doesnt seem to be much change anymore in the track selection he makes and seems to use alot more than usual of his own productions.
maybe its that it takes longer to assemble and prepare new tracks for ableton.
as for the set, it was good but a tiny bit too samey when you hear it over the net but probably rocked if you were there?

I thought it was the worst set i've heard from PvD this year - somehow not even managing to surpass the unfathomable piece of shit that were his second Love From Above set. Easily the worst Essential Mix PvD has done to date.
By the way, being 'biased' is just another word for 'fan-boy.'

is there any reason for this? i was asking for your opinion on the set, not your judgement of a complete stranger...i'm a fan, you're a fan, what's the difference?

It was interesting to see how much better Christopher Lawrences set was that night. Utterly owned PvD.
i personally didnt enjoy CL's set as much as PVD's, maybe its those few songs that PVD played that really stuck with me, and CL wasnt too much to my liking style-wise
