the platter on the 1000 is more sensitive i agree...... but thats whats good about my mk3.... i can tighten it or losen it.... its always all the way tight.


and ya i have an 800mk2 and a 1000mk3... both work great.... the platter of the 800 is the one from the dvdj if im not mistaken so it feels alot nicer... and the platter has a bit more grip which is nicer even when the 1000 is all the way tight, i like using both though

I use 2 x 800mk1's. I've thought many times about selling them to get 1000's but then I don't really need waveforms, cool as they are I'm not convinced I need all the hot cues when playing trance ...but I'd love 0.02% increments In the end I always end up sticking with my trusty old faithfuls
