I didn't see Dave with his camera So here are mine. I only have two videos up now, I'll add some more over the week as I'm exhausted at the moment and need some rest for ATB later tonight!
edit: still uploading the two videos, give it a few minutes to finish up.

Quick review:
It wasn't too packed... perfect for dancing. The crowd was really into Mauro Picotto. Everyone seemed to be really enjoying themselves. I left a little after 3am and Mauro was still going strong (he came on a midnight I believe). A few tracks he played off the top of my head, fedde le grand - put your hands up for detroit, Djuma Soundsystem - Les Djinns (Trentemoeller remix), there are a few others I recognized but can't remember the names at the moment (I was pretty drunk). Alain Octavo threw down an awesome opening set too! Overall it was a great night. I forgot my camera so I didn't get any pics, but Nitevibe.com was taking tons. I would check their website in a few days.

I didn't stay too late cause I was so f'n tired.
Anyhow, great opening set from Alain. Mauro came on and tore it up....at some points reminding me of the Mauro of old with a lot of classic trancier tracks. Like seriously. He's a total crowd pleaser! He also played Yellow - Oh Yeah (Sander van Doorn Remix) .Whoot! I went nuts when I heard..
M-A-U-R-O-P-I-C-O-T-T-O DJ DJ!!!
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, made me shiver.
Now if I would have heard Mauro Picotto - Proximus (Medly with Adiemus), my body would have exploded.
And he played Les Djinns? Doesn't seem like a track he'd play. Too deep and house. Unless he had it sped up stupid. I think the track is like 123bpm to begin with. Must have been outside or gone when he did.

Yeah - he played tons of techno... but I am horrible at IDing techno tracks. I was leaving around 3am when my friend mentioned that he was playing the song I had on my myspace (Les Djinns)... so I walked back in and sure enough he was... I was pretty suprised to hear it too

he closed out with that track at Spundae also......it wasnt part of his set i believe....i think it was more of a "my set is over and this is the background music i want to be playing while im signing autographs and shaking hands" track.....well thats what i figure cuz the lights were on and the crowd was rushing the podium to see him closer, plus that song (sick nevertheless) doesnt belong in his music collection...

Mauro Picotto's trademark is the whole faster/slower transition in between sets....For me personally ive heard a wayyy darker and filthier Picotto....But i think he spun a beautiful set on Saturda.....He played alota oldies along with sum new shit i hadnt heard him spin b4....he did slow it down a little bit about 45 minutes 2 go in his set....but overall ide say it was pretty harddd
