no review thread for this event yet, so i'm starting one..
i'll keep this short and sweet. mostly because i don't remember many of the fine details... feel free to elaborate if you were there.
my first time at sonic and i had a fun night. resident dj Sean Miller’s set was a great way to start the night. i'd describe it as techy prog house. this set got me pumped up for a night of dancing .. defiantly some great tunes here.
Satoshi's set started slow, and stayed that way for too long. his style is apparently supposed to be progressive but it didn't feel like the build-ups were leading to anything. a couple hours into the set though, it finally seemed like he was spinning harder and faster which got more people dancing. the party was kickin at this point of the night. those solid rolling and driving baselines sounded phenomenal on sonic's kickass sound system.
all in all the vibe was really good at this party. great crowd, lots of smiling faces. good to see ta's as always. definitely looking forward to my next time at sonic!

It's not even a matter of preference, I simply cannot wait until 6am for a party to start.

i think he shoulda started the night the way he played from 6 am on... it was a lot more upbeat, the crowd would have reacted to it better...

Sean Miller played fantastic.
Satoshie delivered ... even tho at certain times he was into his minimal stuff and i couldnt dance to it but it was still good. He made up nicely in the last hour and half.
Crowd to my surprise was super cool last night. Loved it. I brought couple of my friends there and it was their first Sonic night and they had a blast
Awesome seeing everyone there
Tara ... you are a sweetheart. Thankyou very much *hugz*

tomiie was absolutely brilliant, defin one of the top 3 parties i've been to this year.
went with a friend, both first timers @ sonic. The crowd we weren't too fond of...but we went for the music and we both had a great time.
i'll defin check out sonic again, but only for huge headliners.
on reg sat nights, i'll stick to the drink/gallery.
anyway, i got a paper due in the morning and im so out of it >_<

yea me neither. i have better things to do at 6am i.e. sleeping. considering, also, to pay $30 - which is the full price, mind you - on jeff's 'reduced' g-list is bollox. thanks again guy. good reason to 'manage' to miss satoshi again. BS.

^^^ well no kidding lolz ... its not girls that have to worry about getting grabbed and grinded by shirtless dudes. i beleive at one point i saw Brant walking with hands on his ass
nonetheless its still a rocking place and beats out majority of the clubs by far
