Cdj-200 & Cdj-100s

alright, i need some advice and opinions here..
i'm considering getting a pair of either one of these but i DONT want to spend a lot of money, unless getting the cdj-200 is really worth it!!!. ive been searching and found that i can get two cdj-100s for 450 bucks which is a little over what a cdj-200 would cost me. i see this as an investment so to me right now it looks like the cdj-100s serves the same purpose as the 200 and is a lot cheaper. the only useful thing that i could find between the two was the .02% tempo increment in the cdj-200 other than that everything else is the same.. so i'm recurring to you guys to tell me what you think. dont just tell me 'dude cdj-100s suck' cause thats buillshit, give me intelligent stats that will convince me otherwise heheh
thanksss

Well, that's one of the main selling points of the CDJ-200- finer pitch adjust increments.

The 200 also plays mp3s, which may or may not be a deal-breaker for you.
There are also some built-in effects on the 200.

oh, and the blue lighting. Who can forget about that? =D

(probably not a comprehensive list, but I can't think of anything else at the moment.)

Also, you can get CDJ-200's for $344 and less, I'm sure. The $344 comes from djdeals.com from before they lost authorized seller status, and I've seen it for less from agiprodj. Shop around. I'm sure other TA'ers can contribute more information.

HTH.

cdj 200=

.02% pitch (though I like to keep it on .05 for some reason)
three GOOD built-in effects
really nice platter
beat looping
if the cd ejects accidentally during play, when put back in will start up right where it left off
cd will NOT ever skip
not as cheap feeling

it's worth saving up for a 200.

I currently own 1 100, and 1 200 (upgraded one of my 100's to a 200), and the 200 is worth it. The fine pitch increment is very nice to have, and the loop function is great (you can do many things with it). Overall its just a much nicer piece of equipment. Save up and buy the 200's. You will like them.

the three built in effects of the 200 are also incorporated in the 100s, so this doesnt apply as a benefit to the cdj-200 heh

How do you guys feel about 1 of each? I'm in a similar situation, too poor for 200's.

It's okay, but if you can stand to wait a little longer do so, and save up for another 200.
