My view:
It's not that big of a deal if someone puts up a link to a mix/dj set since those things were meant to be heard... Only exception is if it is a bootleg and/or a broadcast you had to pay to hear.
Reasoning:
Were it not for such mixes then many would have little chance to listen to this kind of music -- not everyone is graced with big name DJs coming to where they live and/or can listen to the radio to get their fix -- so, enter the Internet.

I do not question that. I fully agree!
But wading in "pure" download threads is not so nice if you expect to see at least a little bit of tracklisting... Maybe one can address that by adding a separate, specific download forum for those who do not care about tracklists, ID'ing and track or set discussions and simply want to share the newest DJ-sets ? That would keep the spam away from the more relevant forums.
