Nothing But You - Original / Paul's "Original" Difference?
What is the difference between the two versions of Nothing But You? People always seem to think that Paul's "Original" version is much better than the standard one but i've never been able to to tell them apart.
Would someone please like to clarify and/or post samples of how they both differ.

the original is by Hemstock & Jennings and called Arctic. PvD used the vocals from that one rehashed it into Nothing But You. IMO Arctic > Nothing But You.

+1
The first version that he used to play was more straight-forward and that simple difference made it that much better.

Paul's 'Original' is modeled off his remix of Guide Me God. Same intro percussion, etc.
The released version, as already mentioned, uses warmer, clubbier percussion and adds the infamous "tetris sounds".

So far i've just compared the one from Amnesia 2002 with Reflections and I still can't tell the difference...

for some reason he decided to include the 'original' on relections ... the one that got released as the single was the 'pvd club mix' though ...
yep, the tetris noise is right at the end of that sample. I think this might mean that the pvd tracklist archive might need to be updated? all the 'Paul's "original"' versions are the same as just 'original' i think?

yeah they should be ... he mentioned in an interview ages ago that it was just a bootleg - didn't stop him playing it far more than the 'proper' version though lol
