WELL AFTER OUR EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH AT THE BARFLY THEATRE ON SEPTEMBER 9TH SLIDE CONTINUES TO GROW FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH, WE HAVE ALWAYS HAD THE BIGGEST NAMES AND THAT WILL NEVER CHANGE, OUR AIM IS TO GET BIGGER AND BETTER AND GIVE YOU WHAT SHOULD BE THE BEST NIGHTS ON YOUR CLUBBING CALENDER. THE BARFLY THEATRE GIVES US A MORE UNDERGROUND FEEL AND AN ATMOSPHERE SECOND TO NONE. THE SOUND SYSTEM IS CLASS AND THE DOOR STAFF FRIENDLY. Simon Patterson aka Dogzilla

Simon moved from Belfast to London 4 years ago to pursue his dream of a career in music. He got his first break at the age of 19 when he was asked by top Italian producer/dj Dino Lenny to run his new labels – Age One and B Sorted Records. Simon quickly found his niche and helped Dino sign & release some of the biggest tracks on the label.
He then went on to work alongside Dave Lambert at top Universal dance label AM:PM, which led to him being approached by head A&R man Nick Halkes to work with him on his new Ministry Of Sound label – Incentive Records.
In the summer of 2001, BBC Radio 1 dj Seb Fontaine approached Simon to handle his A&R, which led to his current position as A&R for Judge Jules, in which he has helped to find and break some of the biggest dance records of 2003 and 2004. He has since grown in stature and is responsible for making some of the most defining trance sounds of recent years, he is now regarded as one of the leading names in the trance scene, who can forget “without You” or his sensational remix of “dark side of the moon” a track that will never die, a classic already it has to be said. He has also just completed a remix for Vandit and is working on new material under his Dogzilla and Simon Patterson guise. This guy cannot be missed.

Ronald Van Gelderen

Ronald took the plunge in 1997 and started making music full time. In 1998 he released his first track, "My X-perience" under the alias Formologic (Label: Flammable Records). He's next follow up was "Sweet Substance" under the alias N-Fluence was quickly signed up by Paul Oakenfold´s label Perfecto. After this release Ronald gained notable reviews in the Trance scene.

Plunging into producing full-time in 1999, Ronald has proven to be the master of his unique "slightly tough" sound with strong melody structures and a cutting edge. Ronald signed up at the label "TSUNAMI" and released some famous hits in the dance scene.

Kid Vicious "Paraphrase", Kid Vicious "Re-Form" (B-side mix from DJ Tiesto), Van Gelderen "Konga", Van Gelderen "Aftershock", Electrobis "Phonetic", Kid Vicious "Pants Down Spanking", Electrobics "Indecisive", Electrobics "Look Who' Stalking", Kid Vicious "Contagious", Mix Compilation: Tsunami vol. 2 mixed by Kid Vicious, Ronald van Gelderen "Proceed", Ronald van Gelderen "Sustain" and Ronald van Gelderen "Crying Out".

Ronald not only produced his own tracks, he also produced together with DJ Tiësto the tracks "Urban Train" and "Suburban Train" which entered the UK single chart at ..22. Here is another guy who simply cannot be missed.

Les Hemstock

Les Hemstock is the only UK DJ and Producer to collaborate with trance god Paul Van Dyk, the results of which created the Top 20 hit Nothing But You

Alongside his partner Chris Jennings, they are one of the most revered and successful trance producers in Britain. Their productions are played by the worlds top DJ's including DJ Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Guy Ornadel, Gielen - the list is truly endless!

After joining forces a few years ago, Hemstock & Jennings had a string of massive anthems as Sagitaire, Merge and Hemstock & Jennings, lining the UKs record shops, resulting in them being one of the most in demand remix and production teams in the UK. Les has remixed for the likes of Ian Van Dahl, Warp Brothers and Joshua Ryan, but without a doubt his winning collaboration with Paul Van Dyk is to date, the highlight of his career. Their record “Nothing But You” sold tens of thousands worldwide and reached number 14 in the UK top 40! . Recently they have had the smash record “Babylon” which Jules played for months on his radio 1 show, they also re-released their classic “mirage” which features on the latest gatecrasher classics cd. SLIDE is also proud to announce that Hemstock and Jennings have been signed up to the new Mangement company we have launched. Watch him go!.

Matt Healey

Resident and co promoter of SLIDE, Matts rise continues. He’s been around in Liverpool for over 9 years now on the circuit and continues to deliver the goods all the time. He co hosts the only trance radio show in Liverpool “Solar Sessions” with Steve Grant on Juice 107.6fm on Sunday night (midnight) and is now a fixture at Goodgreef and at native in Manchester. His future is quite rightfully very bright.

Carl O

Another one to watch out for. Carls Passion and ability as a DJ is unrivalled, he’s been a regular feature at SLIDE and will continue to be. He’s a great example of what you put in you get out. Big future ahead for this lad.
