Hello! Turntable Pro & Cons

Hi,
Im in the market for turntables and have narrowed them to three brands.

Technics SL1200 M3D (industry standard)
Vestax PDX2000
Stanton str8-100

They are all in the same price range, so that will not be a factor.
Technics has the reputation, but both Vestax and Stanton has more features and torque. I believe that Technics torque is 1.6Kg/cm, Vestax is 2.0Kg/cm and Stanton is 2.2Kg/cm.

Vestax and Stanton both have reverse features, all have quarts lock.
Im leaning towards the Vestax, but Stanton's "key adjust" feature is kind of nice. When you speed up/down a record, you can adjust the key up or down so that the music sounds original, but just playing faster or slower. Well, what do you think. I guess my only concern is durability. Technics are tough, anyone use Vestax or Stantons?

Thanks

Technics.

Features and specifications on paper are to be taken with a grain of salt, real world performance, precision, and durability can't really be measured.

the local DJ store here has a pair of technic 1210's that are 16 years old. they work just as good as mine that are only 6 months old. There is only one brand you should be considering.

I would seriously look into the new Numarks. Numark might of finally hot the nail on the head with these.... TTX1's www.ttx1.com They are way more torque then techs and numark is boasting better durability which is where they really lacked in the past.

Technics. Durability should be your primary consideration.
I don't consider fucntions like key adjust to be of much value- TTs should be simplistic and do what it does best- reliablility in performance.
