Following the success of Quality Control Jurassic 5 issued the 2002 compilation Power in Numbers. This album featured guest performances from artists such as Nelly Furtado and Kool Keith. Although the darker, intelligent Power in Numbers created a drastic change from the up-beat Quality Control, it was still highly received, and peaked at number 15 on the Billboard 200. The group is known for their old-school rap style that is delivered through tag-team delivery by their four mc's. Jurassic 5 has created a positive style of rap that like many other old-school hip hop groups has provided social commentary on issues important to their time. Aside from their work on conventional hip hop projects, Jurassic 5 has been able to break away from conventional hip-hop tours and have gone on to work on large-scale events such as the 2003 Lollapalooza, the 2000 Warped Tour and festivals such as Bonnaroo. Recently Jurassic 5 has been touring without Cut Chemist, who opted to leave the group in order to pursue a solo career. The remaining 5 members have recorded and have released their 4th album, Feedback, on July 25, 2006. The first single from Feedback, "Work it Out" (featuring artist Dave Matthews), is receiving acclaim from the industry.
