WiFi in downtown TO

I'm probably going to hang out in the city for a few days late next week, but I need wireless access so I can do a few hours of work early on Friday.

Where do you guys know of (hopefully a coffee shop) that I can count on hanging out for a few hours with reliable wireless service? I would prefer not to have to go through the trouble of setting up any sort of an account, if at all possible.

What's the grid for this zone's access? Also, will it send a text to any cell carrier? (I'm Verizon CDMA)

If taht doesn't work..check out this site..they list majority of the free WiFi spots in Toronto

http://wirelesstoronto.ca/wt_hotspot_locations.php

If you just google Toronto + WiFi it'll give you a list of coffee shops or free hotspots.

FYI: Bell and Telus are the CDMA carriers here... Rogers and Fido are GSM.
