[Review] Ferry

I'm gonna do what I do, which is start the thread when I don't have enough energy to really contribute to it. Ferry is good. Ferry is fun. Ferry may, in fact, be the messiah. Discuss.

Ferry is not the messiah but he is definitely one of the messengers.

Awesome stuff. I don't know how much hearing loss I suffered tonight but it's not going to be pretty. My ears are still ringing

Crobar was fun. We really don't have much like that in Philly or even San Diego so it was cool to check it out. I met some people who post here but I can't remember the names to save my life (plus I was so drunk...) but please, say hi

Just got into my uncle's place in staten island... 730am. ouch.

It was not the night for me there tonight, I was like lost in Crobar although I normally know every househead there, and even with as much as I have had to drink there, I finally split at about after 3am. (don't get me wrong- it was all good there) Ferry started off calmly but at around 2am-ish blew it da f*ck up!!!!!! Others will let you know how it further rolled out into the night. Personally, my friends (geez) and I went on to 27 street for some expensive Techno and House hopping from one joint to another.

Don't ask!!!

By the 'f*cking' way... I met most of all TA at this event then any other where NYTA was representing.

Yea. What the hell was going on @ Spirit? There was a line that went around the corner going back towards 26th Street. Same thing @ Avalon. Wild.

Last place I want to go in is Spirit, Pacha or Avalon, but I saw the line and I was not wanting to waste time in it. I had enough of Limelight, Twilo & SF in my lifetime to lest me all my passed 'candy flip' flashbacks and ones still to come. I went to Pacha last week first time since the opening and to tell you the truth it seemed to me as an old SF reborn.
I went to Pre-Post, Spa, Bed and Marquee.

Mike, I passed you by a couple of times but I didn't deside to stop you in your tracks. May be next time.

Yea man, same here. WTF is up with that damn system ? Cant they just get a sound tech in there before the show starts ? Ferry was ok. Maybe a few good tracks here and there but nothing special.

This was my first time seeing him so I thought he was great! But then again whenever you go see someone for the first time they always kick ass. If anyone cares I was the guy infront-left from about 1am-2:30am in the short sleeve white button down, blonde hair and glasses.

What's there to say.. amazing night.. great crowd (not too packed nor drunk). Quality Ferry set.. that only seemed to get better as the night went on.. As we were leaving, we ended up coming back in twice because of the tracks he was dropping..

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes.. Sorry I jetted out of there quietly around 4.. Had some friends in from LA, who needed to sleep, and I had to save some energy for the festivities tonight..

I really can't remember having that much fun at crobar since the last time Ferry was in town.. March something?

-Pete
