G&D are DJ's. They don't produce... I don't think?

If they do produce, I know the answer to your question: SideChain Compression.

wow, leave the rants and opinions elsewhere. some of the cheesiest songs i've ever heard atleast have 1 cool sound/effect in there. if he likes the bassline, he likes the bassline and wants to know how to recreate it.

anyways, those posts should be deleted because Josh Gabriel has excellent synth programming skills. what bassline did you want us to try and recreate(provide sample).

Have you seen this new G&D Interview? http://remixmag.com/mag/remix_fresh_air/ really good read... the way they tuck the bass with the kick is really interesting.

Are you guys F'ing crazy. G& D are great producers and REMIXERS.. To my opinion they are one of the best Remixers out there. They do a great job on everythign. and for u to say they suck is a little wack.. I dont see you on any top 10 lists. They obviously do not suck if they are up there on the charts..

Anyway i would probably say its all about Side Chaining Compression.. Tucking the bass in after the Kick hits. So its tight and smooth..

interesting how they list a Behringer mixer as part of thier setup...most people on here label anything from that company as garbage, yet here is a top-tier group using it in thier productions.
