so i got a light scribe drive...bought the special cds and everything. anybody know where to find some cool layouts? if not i will just make my own i suppose.

I don't have a drive myself, but I've marginally taken a look into Lightscribe. I think it'd be a really nice way to label CDs. =)

that's what i use em for. i needed a new dvd/cd burner and the lightscribe burners can be had for $30-$35 these days, so I said what the hell

maybe i should look into buying one of these light scribe drives. too bad plextor doesn't make drives with light scribe as i was going to buy a plextor drive next. it's always such a hassle finding out what drive is actually good, but plextor is always good, so it's pretty safe to buy a plextor drive always.
oh well. i definitely gotta look more into this light scribe stuff as my printer can't print on cds and my handwriting sucks ass.
edit: the light scribe cdrs are about 4 times more expensive than normal ones. so i think i'll stick with my marker and shitty handwriting.

I'm pretty sure the price will go down soon enough. It's always the same with new technology. But you're right. So far, they're wayyyy too expensive. But daaaamn they look good.
