That's great! I got cable like 2 months ago...and it's much better..
Once you get cable, it's almost impossible to go back to modem...
TRUST ME!!!

anyway...i've been wanting to call me cable provider for a month now cuz their service disconects almost every day.....but i'm too lazy

I had 33.6k for years until I finally got ADSL (1mb) last December...
It was like... like... "f**king hell, did I just die and go to heaven???"

...now, if only my ISP wouldn't cut me off every 2 hours...

ya that happened to me when i first got cable around a year and a bit ago...its just that cable is probably new in your area and they just keep upgrading for the first few months

you should every time i call complaining i get compensated....last time i got 2 months for free...but it depends on your internet provider...with Rogers if i bitch hard enough i always get free months and stuff...:P

with my adsl, i had problems with my speeds...for a month i was surfing at 2 times faster then 56k! but my internet gaming was the same lol

I have cable and it is amazing, like everyone else has said once you get it you will never go back. My ISP is so bad that my connection is poor and im using 512kb/s im not going to say who is my ISP but *cough NTL cought* they do a poor job.

I like it so much because i can download music and play Counter Strike at the same time with a good ping

congratulations dude. I was on 56k for 2 years and when i finally got cable i was BLOWN AWAY. you will love it
