I was standing my mixer up while I was plugging all the cables into it...and I turned to pick something up and just then my mixer decided to bungee jump off my table. 3 feet high! Just before hitting the ground, the power cord tightened saving the mixer from the collision with the floor. 4 inches of cord was yanked out from the back panel of the mixer...and the plastic that kept the cord in place was yanked out as well and in pieces. Knobs flew everywhere. I gathered a channel 3 gain knob, a channel 1 bass knob, and a channel 4 mid knob. I was completely devasted. I plugged the power cord back into the outlet and turned on the mixer...
No lights came on. It's over.
600, it was a good run for the nearly 2 years we rocked parties all over town. You were there for me through all the hard times. You were there for me when I changed from a trance dj to a house dj. You have been used by dj's such as DJ Rap, M3, DJ Dan, Dave Aude, Max Cheddar, Bas & Clovis, and almost all local dj's in Santa Barbara. You were there for my transition from vinyl to digital. Its going to be hard to say goodbye.
I cant do this anymore. I have to go...
