Man, you gotta learn to use Ableton. When people started ranting and raving about how Ableton basically made anything possible with regards to DJing, I was interested and downloaded the demo to see what all the fuss was about.
I started to mess about with it and thought what the fuck are they whittering on about, I can't even figure out how to load a song. I went throught the DJ tutorial that comes with it and it sort of gave me a vague idea of what was going on, but I still couldn't warp the tracks for shit. I started going through the Ableton forum and read lots of stuff on there, and now I can warp a track on the fly in less than 60 seconds and have an assload of fun just messing about with a keyboard and a mouse.
I'm actually toying with the idea of keeping my car off the road for the next 3 months so I can buy an 800 for use with Ableton, because it really is that much fun. When you start playing with loops,samples, layering tracks etc, there's not a lot you can't do.
