How do you record your mixes and what do i need to do it?

I personally use an M-Audio Delta 2496 sound card, and I use Sony Sound Forge as software to do the recording and editing.

I just run a set of RCA cables from the record out of my mixer, to the input of my soundcard, do some tests for levels and all that jaz, then use the trigger funtion in the software to start recording as soon as it hears sound.

I "think" this is what your asking.

If your talking about recording "mixes" that are being streamed live from the internet, I also use sound forge for that as well.
