With a yousend it account, how would I upload my mix?
It asks for the recipients e-mail address, but doesn't give me any other options for uploading onto this board for example.
I would be grateful if someone could help me out.

You can't upload mixes onto tranceaddict. You upload them to a host (like yousendit or some webspace) and then provide the link to that in your DJ Mix forum thread...

Ok, but when I post the link, it shows all my folders (inbox, sent etc) on the left hand side. I notice that other people don't have that when I view their link.

With YouSendIt it's simple.
1) Create a free account, ignore the bit about recipients/your email address & the message.
2) Below that there's a section for selecting the file to be uploaded.
3) See the big button marked "Send It"? PRESS IT!!!
4) Make a note of the URL you are given & post the link here
