That works, you could also try doing a checkdisk on your harddrive.
Goto Start
Click Run
Type cmd, then hit ok.
Type chkdsk /R
Type Y for yes.
Reboot.
If your machine is running, your drive is prolly not damaged, windows might have just screwed up.
