Ever since i couldn't crack Bitdefender 10 since like they don't allow it any more (every time you update they check the key and if its from a cracked program they denied the key) I've been looking for a new anti-virus program ... any suggestions ??
Check with your local ISP provider.
Most ISPs provide free anti-virus on their websites; it's in their best interest to do so...
For instance, I'm with Rogers high-speed here in Toronto and I'm using their Norton AV which normally would cost about...$30?

i use avg, windows firewall (i'm behind NAT + router firewall anyway so its no biggie), adaware and spybot. cbf installing ms defender, because i have all the dependent services disabled :P
avg is probably the best anti-virus i've ever used, even though its free. i work as a computer tech and its what we use to get viruses off peoples computers. better than mcaffe + norton (prob cause theyre both shit products), nod32, panda and all the other big names. only thing which condends with avg is that new computer associates one which replaced VET, i forget what it's called.

Windows defender still has a long way to go before it matches ewido or spybot standards. Just a heads up though about spybot, if your computer is seriously rooted and has spyware attaching itself to critical windows startup files spybot will just find it all and delete it and you might find yourself without a machine capable of starting up correctly. If you let your computer get that infected though you don't deserve one.

In Firefox go to your Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies
Set the exceptions too whatever sites you want too allow.
Avast isnt a bad little anti-virus program, free too. Anything by Norton lately seems too be horrible.
