Who thinks we should have a sticky for all DJ sets?

After it was suggested, I thought it might be a good idea. Instead of having individual threads for each set d/l everyone can go into one & look for them…plus it’s also pretty good if you’re looking for an old set & you can't find a thread or whatnot. I can remove the attn promoters sticky & place the DJ Set D/L sticky in its place. Let me know what you guys think & I’ll do it. That means that ALL DJ sets go in there & radio shows, etc.

[This doesn’t have to get out of hand if you disagree…I just want to see if people like the idea.]

Thanks guys.

The search sucked because there was an error with two threads in one of the subforums. Swamper fixed it.

Gratzi!

I'm against it. See below:

All of those stickies from New York and other cities are livesets from djs like AVB, Sasha, Desyn Masiello, Digweed, and so forth. They are not for TAs. The only other subforum doing it in your way is the Toronto forums and that's because they have tons of users and the mixes would often flood the forums. Our forum is pretty low key and not that active similar to the Atlanta forums which renders no need to have such a sticky. I love the current system. When somebody has a new mix they make a new thread. The main reason is because I like to keep track of people's comments even if only a few people post in my thread. Another reason is because I want to prevent pigeonholing. I often make sets of many genres like prog house, prog trance, techno, uplifting trance, and my upcoming tech-trance mix which you should download by the way when it comes out.

But anyways that's my case. Hopefully more djs step up who agree with me.

Soundz good...but will people check it I know on the main page it just gets lost.
Curious to what the rest of the local (Miami) and Florida Dj's think. Its only a couple of us that keep the newest tunes in the mix for download. IMO great idea...more reviews...

yeah thats what I meant, possibly having our own with those sets. People making their own thread posting their own mix doesnt cause problems. The way we currently do it is fine I think.

The only stipulations (according to the TOTA download thread, anyway) are:

1. No singles (vinyls, CDRs)
2. No CDs (albums)

My nigga TranceGrooves has done a great job maintaining that thread, to say the least.
