There's a word that sums up this sort of behaviour, and that word is 'reject.'

Not really, They only use it for extreme overclocking, Mainly as a test to see how far they can overclock a CPU. However, People who are heavily into overclocking tend to get liquid cooling kits, they use it to cool the CPU and the GPUs of the graphics card.
The G80 series is the next evolution in everything related to video on the computer.
The 8800 GTX already proves this. The 8900 series should be like...unreal.

True, Unfortunately, We will not see the true potential of the 8800 until Vista comes out. DirectX 10 is only gonna be available on Vista, There are not gonna release it on XP.

lol just wait until ATIs r600 is unleashed. of course, everything on the wikipedia is just speculation, but gig+ of memory and GPU clock of 800mhz, DIES.
btw, question for the techs
the Nvidia 7960 GX2 utilizes 2 GPUs. Does every game see a noticable difference with the extra GPU on a card, or would the developers have to write specific code to use a (better word?) multi-threaded design?
and on that note, SLI and crossfire. When two cards are in SLI or crossfire, are both GPUs being used or is it just to bump up the graphics memory?
