basically, i have a bass with a lot of power and low end, but as it keeps playing notes the low end is being cut. like there is somthing controlling the filter cutoff or somthing. i've tried to mess around with all the knobs and parameters, but nothing seems to cure this problem.
i'm sure this is a simple fix and that one of y'all will be able to help, so thanks in advance! if my description isn't so clear , lemme know.

Iv never used pro-53 but im sure a screenshot would make it alot easier for people to help you.
haven't really used pro 53, but listen to that sound and what you're describing. sounds like it's cycling through some settings. whenever you got something cycling like that, check your LFO settings...i'd bet that has something to do with it. just remember that an LFO causes a sound or device to cycle through a set range...the LFO controls the speed of it. so it might be routed to something like a filter and causing that cycling.
for instance if you look at this pick...on the left side you see a section for the LFO. well if you have that active and below you see LFO destination. well if that little light for filter is clicked on...it's telling the LFO to modulate the filter...

Maybe your oscs are doing some destructive phasing?
Mess around with the Fine knob and the PW.
I hope that helps.

If you want to upload the patch, I can test it out and try to figure out what's wrong.

It's the unison, the voices are phasing a bit in and out, that's what creates the "fatnesss", but also that phasing *problem*. Try tuning the analog knob a bit to spread them out some more, that way the phasing will be faster (so fast that you won't notice it as much, actually)
And 16 voice unison = OVERKILL! use 7 max, anything more will just mud up your mix
