best show ever? I think so. I know the finale aired like a year ago but I just saw it on TV for the first time over here and it has to be, hands down, the greatest finale in tv history. the last 6 mins specifically. see for yourself (helps to know the characters before you watch it but its beautiful all the same):

wow, thanks for posting that! i've been wanting to see the finale ever since my mom and ex-bf were raving about it when they saw it when it originally aired on HBO... i missed the last season since i didn't have HBO anymore, but i fucking love that show. i can't afford all the seasons on DVD but it's been airing on Bravo on Monday nights so i've been watching all the old episodes then.

btw i find it funny how when someone dislikes the show, their only reason is because of the homosexual characters... every single time.

you definetly missed out. the last season is probably the best...and the saddest. especially if youre a fan of the nate character.

nope season four and esp five were the bomb, six was a piss take attempting to tie everything together. yet they didnt attempt that until the last episode - however, that was the best episode of the season|

I have all 5 of the Box sets, simply amazing show! I watch it regularly...doesn't even matter how many times you watch the episodes, they are still always wikkid wikkid!

I thought 4 was way too over the top. good season just doesnt touch 5 what with eps like All Alone where they bury nate and the one where he dies. i consider those some of the best in the series' run
