Well what a year it has been for Hard Dance Stalwart Carl Nicholson. Last December saw Carl’s massive clubland anthem ‘Blueprint (Tara’s Theme)’launched on Tidy Trax and was very quickly given the anthem stamp of approval from Amadeus Mozart as “Track of the Year”, then in February Carl’s Collaboration with Nick Rowland “Trancentral” was snapped up by Nukleuz and was featured in everyone’s boxes from Tiesto to Paul Van Dyke.

September then saw Carl’s second solo release on Tidy Trax “The Shining/All Aboard” which was met with open arms by none other than the Queen of Hard Dance Lisa Lashes and The Tidy Boys but to name a few and then in November Carl launched his new digital label CN recordings, which since it was launched has achieved top 10 listings virtually every time on the Trackitdown and Tidy Digital download sites.

On top of all this he has also been featured on no less that 10 Hard Dance/Trance Compilations worldwide, got numerous rave reviews in Mixmag, IDJ, DJ and M8 magazine and has hit the DMC No 1 spot & The Top 20 National Dance Chart twice and that’s just in the past 12 months.

So, Carl is set to round off the year in Bristol fashion with his 2nd installment on ilogik’s Elasticman imprint, “2Dance2” is Carl’s first collaboration with up & coming new kid on the block, Chrysus and has all the makings of an anthem, tough, driving, techy loops drive along this track with a gnarly acid line, cutting leads and a bassline to die for, all this builds back up in the breakdown and literally batters its way back into the crescendo to bring the whole track into its own.

On the flip with have the extraordinary Ilogik remix which was made with more of a BK hard beat feel, but is without doubt one of Ilogiks best remixes to date and will have his fans in complete awe. So, with 5/5 in DJ magazine and Rob Tissera giving it “Tune of The Month” in M8 magazine this track is going all the way to the top.
